Dilks Wedding

So I got asked to photograph a wedding on Halloween and I accepted. I thought oh man this is going to be so cool! A wedding on halloween. I was expecting something geared toward the spooky holiday if you will but what I got was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever been to. The bride was beautiful, the decorations, were beautiful, the location was beautiful and it was the most perfect day that anyone could have asked for. It had been cloudy at the first part of the day but as the minutes past the sun came out in all it's glory. Needless to say it did rain but we had gotten all of the formals done before the sky opened up. =) So enough will all my rambling. Jennifer and Rob are an awesome couple and I wish them many, many, years of happiness, love, and a marriage that lasts forever.

What I have been doing lately......

So I've been a bad blogger lately but..... I'm starting to slowly but surely get caught up. Thank goodness! So the first set of pics I'm gonna post are of a beautiful little family that I got the opportunity to photograph again. The are awesome to work with and have the most adorable little baby boy! Thanks Celia and Reggie for letting me capture those memories for you! =) The next set of pics are of a beautiful girl who is inspiring to be a model. I also got the awesome opportunity to photograph her for a portfolio she is putting together to take to a modeling agency. I wish her the best of luck in the future. Oh and throwing in a pic of my new tattoo. Eventually I may stop getting tattoo's.... but..... well who knows what I'll come up with next. =)

My Angels.... =)

So yesterday it was beautiful outside and I was fortunate enough to be able to spend the entire day with my beautiful little girls. We played outside and of course I had my camera. Oh how they loved posing for mom in the trees and looking at the "pond" as Haeley called the creek. =) I am so blessed and can't thank God enough for those two beautiful little angels. They are the "loves" of my life. One smile, one kiss, one hug, or just hearing the words "mommy" is enough to make my heart melt. With all that said I will leave you with a quote I read today. Touched my heart and I'm sure it will do you the same way.

What have I been up too.....

Well it's been a while since I have posted. I have been super busy with school, work, my little Angels, shoots, and somewhere in between having a personal life. I am not going to sit here and bore you to death with all the reasons why I haven't been blogging. I do want to share one quote with you though that is very personal and makes me really stop and evaluate all the good things in my life. So with that I will leave you with some very wise words and a ton of pictures that I am so grateful to have caught up on. Have a very blessed day.

My new TAT!

So this pic isn't that great because I took it with my webcam but you get the idea! The tat is of an Ankh. It's an Egyptian cross. The Egyptian's believed that the bearer of the cross would be given protection from evil and eternal life. God bless and have a great day!
