Adorable.... National Children's Portrait Contest

Ok so I am pleased to announce that I will be participating in this years 2011 Adorable National Child's portrait contest. This contest is being sponsored by one of my professional labs I use for printing. The national Grand prize for the child who wins is $1500.00!! There will also be prizes for second and third place as well and honorable mention. I will also be giving out prizes for local winners as well!

Local prizes:
Grand prize winner will receive a free 16x20 print of their winning image and a $50.00 Visa gift card. There will also be 6 runners up who will also receive a  16x20 print of their image as well.

National Prizes - Grand Prize $1,500 Mastercard - gift card. 1st place winners $200 Mastercard - gift cards. 2nd Place Winners - $100 Mastercard - gift cards. 3rd place

winners - $50 Mastercard - gift cards and Honorable mentions - $25 Mastercard - gift cards.

Newborn - 12 yrs.

Contest Categories:

 Newborn-12 mos. • 13 mos.-2 yrs. • 3-5 yrs. • 6-8 yrs. • 9-12 yrs. • Mommy & Me/Daddy & Me • Ooops • Buddies

Entering:

 Only single subject portraits are eligible except for Mommy & Me / Daddy & Me

and Buddies. One entry per child in age categories. A child entered in an age category can also be

entered in Mommy & Me/Daddy & Me, Ooops and Buddies.

Judging:

Prints are judged on the basis of quality, appearance, charm, expression and personality.

Contest Winners will be announced and prizes awarded July 22, 2011.

Entering the Contest

• An official entry form must be used for the contest judging.NO adults or children past the age of 12 can be in the photo other than categories with multiple subjects.

Entrants Agreement

• Entry in the contest entitles Stefany Tyree Photography and American Color Imaging unlimited use of the photograph without additional compensation.

A digital entry form must be uploaded with each contest submission

Entry forms must be signed by the child’s parent or guardian, and photographer at the time of entry to be eligible for the Adorable contest. 

Ok so now that we have all the fine print out of the way here's the low down. 

I will be offering 30 minute mini sessions in honor of the contest. The session fee will only be $35.00 and will include a free 5x7 of submitted entry. This is for one child only. Each additional child is $10.00. Full sessions are still available at the full session price. Portraits from full or mini sessions will be eligible to be entered into the contest. Any photograph being submitted HAS to have been taken by Stefany Tyree Photography. Please have ideas about what you would like for your child to wear during the shoot and keep in mind we are shooting for the contest. If you have any ideas you would like to share as far as ideas for your  shoot please feel free to share them or I can give you ideas as well. 

Local Contest Winners will be announced around the middle of June and or beginning of July.

It's been a while since I've posted but that's because I've been busy putting together my website! I am so proud to have accomplished this and can't wait to share it with you all. Where has the time gone?

I still can hardly believe that we are two weeks away from Christmas. My last blog post was in July which is still hard for me to believe. Well there has been many wonderful things going that I would love to share with you all. I've finished up another photography class, met some wonderful new clients, and have been editing for days. Here tonight I wanna share some of which I've been working on. =)

This is one of the 4 projects I did for my photo sequence class. It's one picture divided up. To me I feel like I'm looking through a window at this magnificent view. God shows us beauty all the time. We just have to stop and see it. 

Now my babies. Let me tell you those girls are truly a gift from God. Those smiles and those little voices every time I hear them say my name. My darling daughters you are so very cherished.

I got to be part of an awesome little man's 2nd birthday party. Angie he is so precious and thanks again for letting me capture those birthday memories for you. =) 

This little girl is such a ham! She is so precious and knows it! She does so well getting her picture taken and big thanks to mom for bringing her back. =)

Session fee includes photographer’s time and talent, studio or on location session up to 2 hours, unlimited clothing changes, post processing of images (including basic retouching), and 20-30 proofs from your session on a disc.

I have been an extremely bad blogger.... I apologize

Wow! I cannot believe how long it's been since I have updated my blog. I had a tragedy in my family at the beginning May and my spirit and heart was crushed. I was in mourning for the first two weeks and then it slowly started to ease up.... which everyday is still a challenge but my family and I are slowly moving forward. Any how I have had some amazing clients in the mean time and want so badly to get the pictures posted so I  can share these amazing clients of mine. Photographs are a moment in time that you can never get back and I'm so glad to be able to capture that for my family and wonderful clients. This beautiful girl is an aspiring model. She is beautiful and has the natural talent to model and do very well. She was awesome to work with and had great ideas as well as being up for all the different locations that we shot at. I wish her the best of luck in future and really do hope she pursues modeling. Adorable Miss Hannah

So I got the opportunity to photograph Miss Hannah, who is an absolute doll. She was a little shy of us at first but warmed right up and we got some amazing shots.  She did so well for her age and mom was wonderful too.
